Innovative Learning

At High Note we offer a superior technique of learning from any other music service out there. Created in house by the Founder Joshua Deville this method called Layered Learning utilizes repetition and muscle memory, while simultaneously installing best practices for learning and forming good general habits that insure the student will learn quickly and efficiently and have fun in the process.

How We Teach

Oftentimes most traditional music lessons only teach the student to be able to play when reading sheet music that is placed in front of them. This greatly limits the student from having the freedom to play without the aid of sheet music. As well as missing out on the opportunity for creative expression, which is a big part of playing music.

While understanding how to read sheet music and have a strong foundation of music theory is important unlike other music schools we also like to include the other side of music by teaching both the classical and creative sides together.

This way the student has a greater ability and flexibility to play different ways that traditional lessons would not allow. This gives the student the ability and freedom to play their own rendition of songs they love as well as also have the ability to create their own music which if they want to.
